Milk Street Marketing is extremely excited to announce that we have a new home in Philadelphia’s up and coming Point Breeze neighborhood!
The founding members of the Milk Street team began working together in May of 2015. In the beginning our offices rotated between Connie’s Ric Rac, the studios at Gashouse Radio and various other co working spaces around the Philadelphia area.
After several months we decided the time was right to begin hosting our own co working events. And we knew the right place to host our events was Connie’s Ric Rac. Connie’s is a music venue that opened so that musicians and other artists would have a space to nurture their creativity and collaborate with one another. We had out fingers crossed that the Ric Rac’s creative spirit would carry over into our coworking events.
And it did.
From the beginning our co working event was a success. Each week, offering only free coffee and wifi, our event attracted some of the most creative and innovative marketers in Philadelphia. These co working and thought leaderships events were so successful we developed them into their own brand.
We named this brand MarketShare. Our purpose with MarketShare was to create a place where the Philadelphia marketing community could network and grow professionally, while having a good time of course.
As MarketShare grew and expanded so did the Milk Street team. Our team’s needs quickly became more than Connie’s could accommodate. It became apparent that Milk Street need a permanent place to call home.
And after scouting out numerous locations around the city for a new home – we’ve found the perfect space to fit our needs. Our new office provides Milk Street staff a spacious workspace and allows us to scale as large as co working will allow.
At Milk Street we are extremely proud of how far we have come and just as excited about our future.
