Experiential marketing, pop-up cafes and new business pitches!
On our most recent podcast episode, we recapped a very busy week in the world of Milk Street Marketing. From experiential marketing, coworking sessions to small business expos, Ron and the Milk Street team had a lot to talk about!
You can also hear about prolific commercial photographer Zave Smith‘s Philly Portrait Project and how we are producing the next edition for the Philly music scene at Connie’s Ric Rac. The photo shoots will be this Wednesday, March 30 from 4pm to 8pm, as well as next Wednesday, April 6th from 4pm to 8pm.
Also this week, chef Sean McMonagle (who brought some delicious snacks) joined the show to talk about how much fun it was experiential marketing techniques with his “pop up cafe” venture. We talked about what “experiential marketing” is, and why it is an imperative piece in your marketing arsenal. The discussion shifted to how millennials are more interested in experiences than consumer goods, and on another level, are less likely to support corporate America. Rather, today’s twenty and thirty-somethings would prefer to support local business that add value to the communities in which they live, play and work.
We used some really awesome buzzwords and we may have invented a few new ones.

This Week on Milk Street airs every Monday at 4pm ET on Gashouse Radio. Be sure to tune in and participate! You can call in at 888-9-GASHOUSE, or use #Milkpod on Facebook or Twitter. We would be happy to discuss your marketing challenges, and we’d love to hear what you think of ours.
